A catch-all feature that is activated for a given email mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise stated, if you remove an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten email address under the same domain name, you’ll receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital in case you run a company, for example. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited messages, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filters in order to receive only authentic email messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting
You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox without effort in case you have a cloud hosting plan with us. The Email Manager tool in our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-laden, yet amazingly easy to use, and it will allow you to activate various options, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each of them you will notice a small "Catch-all" icon. Clicking on it once will enable this feature, clicking it again will disable it. As you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you’ve already got a different mailbox with this feature enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel that is included with every semi-dedicated server plan that we offer will permit you to set up a catch-all e-mailbox with ease even if you don’t have much web/email hosting experience. All it takes to do that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each mailbox that you have created using your domains in the Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Since you can have only one mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will inform you if you’ve already set up a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you would like to use has email forwarding activated. If you decide that you don’t want the feature any longer, you can disable it by clicking once again on the very same icon. The Email Manager will also allow you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
